Upazila Statistics Office is managed under Ministry of Planning. Each Upazila has one Upazila Statistics Office. There are a total of 08 departmental statistical offices, 64 district statistical offices and 492 upazila statistical offices under the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics.The total manpower in this office is 05 people, 1 upazila statistical officer, 01 statistical investigator, 2 junior statistical assistants, 1 chainman posts. However, 01 Upazila Statistics Officer and 02 Junior Statistics Assistants are vacant in total 03 posts.
